1. About this policy

This policy explains how Benario Consulting LLC, doing business as BBComputing, collects and uses personal information through bbcomputing.com and communications related to our services. BBComputing provides IT services for businesses.

2. Contact us

For questions about this policy or a privacy request, email [email protected], call (773) 340-4480, or write to BBComputing, 119 S Western Ave Unit 1 #570, Chicago, IL 60612.

3. Information we collect

  • Information you provide. Our contact, new-client inquiry, estimate, and booking forms collect the information you enter. Depending on the form, this includes your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, company, job title, business location, number of people and computers, services of interest, estimate selections, and message. We also receive information you share by email, phone, or text.
  • Form context. Inquiries and estimates may include the page that brought you to the form. We save your submission and any consent choices associated with it.
  • Website usage. Analytics services collect information about visits and interactions, such as pages viewed, referring websites, browser and device information, IP addresses, clicks, scrolling, and successful form submissions. The cookies and analytics section below explains this in more detail.

Required fields are marked on our forms. Please do not enter passwords, payment card details, patient information, or other sensitive information in website forms.

4. How we use information

  • Respond to questions, evaluate service inquiries, prepare and email estimates, and arrange appointments.
  • Provide and administer requested services and communicate with clients.
  • Understand which pages are useful and improve the website and inquiry process.
  • Protect the website, prevent misuse, maintain business records, comply with applicable law, and resolve disputes.

Submitting a form allows us to respond to that request. It does not subscribe you to a newsletter or authorize marketing text messages.

5. Service providers and information sharing

Website form submissions are saved in our website administration system, sent to our team by email, and forwarded to our internal operations portal so we can follow up. We use service providers for website hosting and data storage, email delivery through Resend, scheduling, and analytics through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. These providers receive information needed to perform their services. Our booking page loads a scheduling service at meet.bbcomputing.com and collects the information you provide to request an appointment.

Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Google and Microsoft's handling of analytics data is described in their privacy information linked below.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or investigate misuse, with your permission, or as part of a business transfer. Mobile information and text-message consent are not shared, sold, or conveyed to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar browser storage for analytics, to remember privacy choices, and to support authorized access to website administration. You can browse the public website without accepting analytics cookies.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to measure visits and successful contact messages, new-client inquiries, estimate requests, and confirmed IT-review bookings. Google may receive IP addresses during transmission, browser and device information, page addresses without query strings, and referring website origins. We do not send form answers, names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, or estimate breakdowns to Google Analytics. Our Google Analytics installation does not enable advertising tags, Google Signals, advertising personalization, or customer matching. See Google's partner-site privacy information and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. These tools show interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movements, together with page content and browser and device information, so we can identify confusing areas and improve the site. Clarity uses first- and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to collect website usage data. Microsoft receives this data and processes it under the Microsoft Privacy Statement, which explains Microsoft's collection, use, and protection of information. Our use of Clarity is for website improvement, not an installation of Microsoft Advertising.

Your analytics choice. Visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked to accept or decline analytics. The same rule applies if a visitor's country cannot be determined. Elsewhere, analytics may run without a notice, subject to saved refusals and recognized browser privacy signals, including Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. You can change your analytics choice through "Cookie settings" in the footer. Your choice is stored in your browser with its time, country, notice version, and notice text; changing it preserves the previous choice. Google Analytics does not resend events that were blocked before acceptance.

You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Browser settings and privacy choices generally apply to that browser and device, so you may need to make the same choice on another device.

7. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to respond to requests, provide services, maintain necessary business records, and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and why it was collected.

We use safeguards intended to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No website, network, or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law and where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; receive a copy; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision about your request. Contact [email protected] to make a request or appeal. We may need to verify your identity or an authorized agent's authority before responding. Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations or other permitted reasons.

You can decline analytics or change your choice using Cookie settings. Learn more about Global Privacy Control. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. Where applicable, you may also contact your privacy regulator or state attorney general.

9. Other websites

Our site includes links to other websites, such as review pages, software providers, and client resources. Following a link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. Review that service's privacy policy before providing information.

10. Children's privacy

This website is intended for businesses, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.

11. Text messaging privacy and terms

If you sign up for text messages, you agree to receive informational messages, such as appointment reminders and account notifications, from BBComputing at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We do not use SMS for marketing.

Text messaging information is used to deliver and manage these communications. Providers supporting message delivery may receive the information necessary to perform that service. Mobile information and text-message consent are not shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE. For assistance, reply HELP, call (773) 340-4480, or email [email protected]. Consent to text messages is separate from your analytics choice.

12. Policy updates

We may update this policy as our website, services, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Any notice or renewed consent required by applicable law will be provided as appropriate.
