Security System
Abode Home Security System. There are no contracts, it’s fully self-install (however feel free to contact me to do it for you), and for $20/mo you get professional monitoring in case of emergencies, and a cellular and battery backup in case your internet or power goes out.. This can be connected to other smart home devices as well!
External Hard Drives

Online Computer Backup Service
Backblaze. This is $100/yr and handles a full computer back-up for you. Personally, I use this IN ADDITION to Google Drive/OneDrive, since those only backup specific folders, this backs up my entire computer.
Computer Peripheral/Hubs
With nearly all new computers now offering USB-C ports, and less ports for other things (like HDMI) I’ve been asked this question quite a bit. The hub I’m currently using is this Anker 8-in-1 hub with 100W Power Delivery pass-through. This means it ONLY uses 1 port on your computer to provide multiple USB-C ports, ethernet, HDMI, USB-A (older style USB), SD card reader, etc.
